Aaron Green
Founder
Aaron Green is a gardening and DIY enthusiast and the founder of Essential Home and Garden. In 2016, he noticed the lack of websites that genuinely guide people to choose the right products. So, armed with his professional gardener skills and many years of being a homeowner, he launched Essential Home and Garden.
Aaron started his professional career as an electronics technician, before moving into the technical sales department where he sold:
- Public address systems
- Security systems
- CCTV systems
- Commercial audio visual systems
Now a proud father of two, Aaron spends most of his spare time with his family, brewing his own beer and completing DIY projects.
Hannah Gregorio
Editor
Hannah Gregorio is Essential Home and Garden’s editor. She has written for several publications and websites, ranging from cars, lifestyle and travel blogs, eCommerce brands to SEO and marketing agencies.
She received her B.A. in Journalism from the Manila Times College.
Her home and gardening experience and knowledge stem from her father’s electrical business and her mother’s love for orchids and indoor plants. During her spare time, she builds mechanical keyboards, doodles on Procreate, and as a self-proclaimed audiophile, spends hours critiquing music recordings.
Sara Seitz

Sara Seitz is Essential Home and Garden’s Product Review and Contributor.
Sara is a freelance writer specializing in the home and garden and green living niches. She joined the Essential Home and Garden team in 2020.
Before jumping into the freelancing game full-time, Sara worked as a property manager and rental unit inspector. But most of her home and garden knowledge comes from being raised by her custom home builder father and landscape designer mother.
When she is not in front of the computer, Sara is in the garden teaching her daughter the joys of playing in the dirt or working with her husband to remodel their never-ending project of a home.
Emily Cordo

Emily Cordo is a freelance writer with an MFA in creative writing from Texas State University. Before pursuing her MFA, Emily worked as a legal aid attorney for more than a decade. In addition to writing, Emily runs a permaculture-informed mini-farm in Indiana.
She is a certified Master Gardener and enjoys anything DIY.
Jonathon Jachura

Jonathon is a mechanical engineer with over ten years of experience in the HVAC industry. He has hands-on experience with all types of HVAC systems.
He is passionate about technology, finances, SEO, and writing– his main goal is to educate others with crisp, concise descriptions that anyone can understand.
He has strong technical skills and creates engaging, easy-to-read, and informative content in an exciting way. Jonathon stays busy with various home and garden DIY projects at his home in Indiana. He enjoys running, cycling, reading, and spending time with his wife and son. Jonathon stays up to date on the HVAC market by reading industry publications most mornings while he enjoys a cup of coffee.
